Food Security Programs

Food Bank (three-hour shifts):

Mondays – help unload food deliveries and organize food, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Tuesdays to Thursdays – help serve from 9:00 am to 4:00
Fridays – help serve from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturdays – help serve from 9:00 am to noon

Meals and Snacks – Mondays to Fridays:

help prepare breakfast 8:00 am to 9:00 am
help serve breakfast 9:00 am to 11:00 am
help prepare lunch 9:00 am to noon help service lunch 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm during school term, help prepare and serve afterschool snacks 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
during summer, on PD Days, and March Break, help prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for children

Food Delivery:

help deliver food to those who can’t travel to the Family Centre, Wednesdays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Baby Depot & Toy Library

Wednesday 8:30 am to noon, and Thursdays 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

help serve, record visits, and re-stock shelves

Clothing Depot

Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:00 am to noon, Thursdays and Fridays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

help sort and display donated items help sell or hand out needed items
